The Crime Writers of Canada has awarded the Howard Engel Award for Best Crime Novel Set in Canada to Wild Hope.
1 May 2024 – The Crime Writers of Canada has nominated Wild Hope for the Howard Engel Award for Best Crime Novel set in Canada. Winners will be announced on May 29. View the shortlist here.
24 February 2024 – Joan Thomas will be facilitating a writers workshop at New Horizons, 1765 Sollans Road, Hornby, investigating how imagination and memory both feed into the stories we write, whether in memoir or fiction. 11:15 to 3 PM.
